They are currently looking for a cleaning industry experienced Business Development Manager. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development of the South West Region business portfolio, identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, pre-tender questionnaires and tender documentation. The role will geographically cover the area from Gloucester south into Bristol, Somerset and Devon. The annual sales target will be £750k per annum. To be considered for this position you must have a minimum of 2 years experience within the cleaning industry, with a proven track record of selling, have the ability to generate new leads in addition to those supplied by the client’s telesales team, be able to develop client relationships and the subsequent preparation and delivery of both pre-qualification and new quotations, be professional and confident with impeccable communication, presentation and organisational skills. Their client base includes, office/reception premises, industrial estates, retail premises, distribution Centres, television/Media premises and local Authority premises. The majority of their current cleaning contracts are located in the City of London and the West End, but they are happy to look for contracts anywhere within the M25. To continue their growth of their cleaning division they are now looking to employ a Business Development Manager to sell their cleaning services. Candidates must be familiar with the whole sales cycle from initial lead finding, through to presentation, tendering and closing the sale. Candidates must also have a track record of successfully selling cleaning services and be happy with working to weekly activity targets. Candidates who cannot meet this criteria will not be considered. Candidates with both cleaning and security selling experience would particularly be of interest.
