At Fairford Associates we  are constantly looking to broaden the range of services we offer and we are pleased to offer the following services in association with our partners.

  • Vetting

Fairford Associates are now able to offer an independently audited BS7858:2006 compliant 5 year vetting service through an established provider.  With the SIA handing out hefty fines to any company that employs non-vetted security people, it is crucial that you get these 5 year checks done as efficiently and accurately as possible and we all know that they can eat into your time and resources with endless phone calls, faxes and emails. For a fee of £99.00 per person they can take the whole process from start to finish, normally completing a whole file in 2 weeks so that you don’t have to be constantly chasing references and worrying that you won’t get the file finished in time. If you are currently doing these checks in-house, ask the people doing them what sort of problems arise and how long they take to complete. You may be surprised at the answer and at how much of your staff’s valuable time is going into this already.

  • Special Assignments

Recently we were tasked with recruiting a team of specialist Fire Officers for  a prestigious “green field site.” We successfully completed this task and our client was delighted with the standard of candidate and the cost at which we provided them at.

  • Behavioural Interviewing

This is a specific interviewing technique in which the interviewer sets out to obtain specific examples of an interviewee’s past behaviour. The purpose of this particular type of interviewing is to predict future behaviour and thus, future performance.  The benefits of behavioural interviewing are clear. The more accurately you can predict future behaviour, the more likely you are to appoint people to jobs in which they will be successful. This is good for them and good for you the employer. For permanent vacancies where we are recruiting on a sole agency basis, we will, on request, carry out behavioural interviewing free of charge, (only expenses are payable). We can also provide this service for candidates not introduced by ourselves (please call for details and costs).
